Imagine being a senior who one day is in a warm
loving home with people who took care of you for 11+ years only
to uproot you and take you to an over crowded shelter because you were too old. Imagine being a senior who one night you are sleeping on a dog bed and the next night you are sleeping on a cold concrete slab with a thin blanket at an over crowded loud shelter. Imagine being a senior frightened in the corner of an over crowded shelter not wanting to eat or come out for walks and slowly deteriorate away. Imagine being a senior in a very loud over crowded shelter being happy people are coming, only to be overlooked by them because they are looking at the younger ones on either side of you to join their family. Imagine being a senior who showed humans unconditional love your whole life for 11+ years only to be traded in for a "newer model." Imagine being a senior in an overcrowded shelter declining more and more with each passing day because no one adopts you. Imagine This is why we specialize in senior,hospice, and paralyzed dog rescue! I love the seniors so much. I don't worry about the quantity of life they have left but the quality we can provide for them to never suffer or be alone again!
